Alisha (and Owen) went to London?! [MIYAVI 'The Others' Tour 2015]

I N T R O D U C T I O N

Hi everyone~ It's Alisha here! (Of course!)
I've finally got time to update my blog! Sorry it's been so long...
Recently, college has been a real hassle, and I've had absolutely no time. T^T
BUT, it's all okay now, because today I bring to you, the tales of my trip to London~!
Okay so, me and my boyfriend Owen travelled to London on the 27th September 2015...
Why did we go to London? MIYAVI!
He was back in the UK for the European leg of his 'The Others' tour! Woohoo~
Now, if you've been following this blog for at least a year, you'll know I was at his last concert...
But this time, I decided to take Owen with me as well, since he's also a fan~~~~
Please enjoy the following blog entry about our weekend in London~!

L E T ' S  S T A R T !
So~~~~~~~
We woke up on the 27th at around 5:00 AM, because we were catching a NationalExpress coach rather than train...
And the coach left at 8:05 AM, so we had to get from Owen's house to my town to get the coach.
I was really tired, haha~ I was a little worried that I'd be moody throughout our trip u.u
But all was well, because I created a really cute Larme-kei outfit, and I felt really pretty~~
I'll post a photo of my outfit here:

I won't bore you all with the outfit details, teehee~
(P.S. This photo was taken in our hotel room, which was really nice!)
Here are some derpy selca me and Owen took on the coach because we were bored...
As you can see, it was really sunny! (I actually got sunburn on one side of my face...)

We ended up going through Heathrow Airport (which looks much nicer at night)
And also, we drove alongside the River Thames, and saw some pretty landmarks~~
The wind turbine was on top of a skyscraper, it was so strange haha...
I've never been to London any way other than train before, so all of this was new to me.

The concert was in Shepherd's Bush, an area of London I've been to 3 times before
Thanks to my previous knowledge of the area, we got there by tube pretty easily~
I didn't take any pictures on the tube, because a lot of serious business men use it haha
I don't think they would appreciate me taking photos of them T^T
The problem was when we arrived in Shepherd's Bush and had to find our hotel.
We really struggled to find our hotel! It's so tucked away in a really weird place~~~

The hotel we stayed at was called the 'Shepherd's Bush Boutique Hotel'~
These are photos of the hotel taken by other people, because we were too busy to take any T-T

We actually were booked into another hotel, but they cancelled on us at the last minute...
Literally, the night before we were supposed to travel to London. It was a nightmare.
Luckily, we were able to book a room at this hotel, and it was the best nightmare ever!
I cannot tell you enough just how nice this hotel actually is, it's beautiful.
The hotel opened in January this year, so it's really new, which is probably why it's so nice
But compared to all of the other 'hotels' in the area (converted houses) this one was amazing
The bathroom is SO NICE. And it's so convenient as well, everything is placed close together
Which you would expect from a 'boutique' hotel, but it's not cramped at all
Everything was just really nice~ Aaaaa I want to go back to this hotel~! London take me back!
Honestly, if you're going to be staying in the local area, I really recommend this hotel
It wasn't cheap-cheap, we paid £70 for a double room for one night, but you get so much stuff
The staff are really friendly, we went down for bottles of coke at 2:00 AM and they didn't mind at all
(Also - so much free stuff - free slippers, toiletries, teabags, coffee, biscuits...)
THEY HAVE DRESSING GOWNS IN THE ROOMS. (Bath robes for my American readers)
Okay, hotel praise aside, because I might write an actual review for this hotel, since they're new
And I don't mean to pry but where they're located (the only negative thing - down an alleyway)
I feel like they don't get as much business as they should.

 Hello me~
The bathroom~ (what those little stairs lead to!)
Owen being cool as hell.
Okay so, I really love being in Shepherd's Bush, and the reason for that is simple:
The Westfield Shopping Centre~!
Look at this beautiful shopping centre:

I know you... I walked with you once upon a dream...

I love the Westfield so much, I have infinite love for the Westfield,
it's Europe's biggest shopping centre, and it's filled with all kinds of designer brands
You'll see more of that when I finally get around to sorting out my London video~
It's so dreamy in there, it's really like entering another world~
Unfortunately, I have no photos of the Westfield, as I was more focused on video...
But the video is taking quite a long time to complete due to computer problems haha...
Sorry about that T-T

The best thing about the Westfield?
DISNEY STORE!!!!
My local town/wannabe-city had a Disney Store, but it closed down earlier this year sadly...
So this was my first time in a Disney Store in a very long time (I used to be a daily visitor)
Finally, I could add a new doll to my collection! (I came so close to buying all the Cinderella dolls)
In the end, I settled for Ariel, because she's super rare, they don't even sell her on the website now
I was really surprised to find Ariel dolls in the store, so of course I got myself one~
It was hard to leave the live action Cinderella dolls behind (Especially Lady Tremaine hnnnngghhh)
But I know I'll own them all at some point~!
Of course, I had to take photos with the Frozen models on both days~
But, I was really awkward because loads of people were looking at me haha
Actually, I got quite a lot of stares and comments through the weekend
It was okay though, only 2 or 3 people were mean, the rest were all super positive~
The women in Urban Decay and INGLOT were all super nice to me~!

A L I S H A ,  W H A T  D I D  Y O U  B U Y ?

This is everything I bought during both days of shopping at the Westfield (also from the concert!)
I don't want to spend too long on this section, as I don't want to seem like I'm bragging (sorry!)
I'll post individual pictures of things I got now and say what they are~!
(Those of you who don't want to read about my purchases, I totally understand - please skip this part)

 Urban Decay - 'Shadow Box' - £23
INGLOT Lipstick - £12
 Garnier - Face wipes - £2.30
Superdrug own - Raspberry spray - £1
MUA - Eyeshadow Primer - £3
B. - B. Radiant Foundation - £4.99 (best foundation ever btw, flawless coverage)
East India Trading Company - Tea selection pack - £3 (These are so nice but... Imperialism?)

That concludes the 'what I purchased' section~!
T H E  C O N C E R T !

And now, the moment you've all been waiting for~ The MIYAVI concert!
Honestly, I can't even begin to share the experience with you, it was so electric
Everyone was totally sharing the same energy, it was beautiful

Firstly, when we were queueing outside, we got our photo taken~
Aren't we cute?! I look so awkward, and Owen was super ill... It was a disaster haha
Still, at least I got my photo taken this time! Because we weren't too far back in the queue
(We were queueing for about 2 hours, so...)
Now, the selca I took~

 The guest act: Erica Nockells
(she was so cool, she had a NANA vibe):

MIYAVI!

The official photo of the concert posted to MIYAVI's Facebook page~
T H E  L E G O  S T O R E ? !

We created our own characters (but we didn't buy them haha)

 Owen~

We made a house too~ And, afterwards, a little kid was playing with it

Finally, photos from the coach journey home~!
