Hello cuties~ Today, I'll be doing another jewelry review~~!
It feels like ages since I last did a review of some accessories... And I've had these rings for ages!
So, I feel it's definitely about time I got on with it and did the review, haha~
The two rings I'm going to be reviewing are from the Storenvy store: 'zombieunicornjewelry'
Their store can be found here: clickme clickme clickmeeeeee
I really like her work, because she makes it all individually out of polymer clay!
So every single item is handmade and unique~ And some pieces are really delicate and detailed owo
Now, on to the review~!
S H I P P I N G
So, for once I can actually give you a date on which I placed my order...
I actually kept the receipt for once haha~! xD Shipping cost $4 to get to the UK~
So, I placed the order on the 8th of June, 2013~~ (told you I've had them for ages!)
And they arrived within around a week of me ordering them, so they came really, really fast!
The store is based in Poland, which isn't too far away from me here in the UK~
When they arrived, they were packaged in a padded envelope to keep them safe...
And, they also came in a really pretty pink ring box!
(My photos came out really bad for some reason T-T)
Because they came so nicely packaged and the shipping was fast, I give them:
5/5~
Q U A L I T Y
Here are the stock photos of the two rings that I ordered:
I got both rings in the lilac colourway~! So, the purple macaron and the 'lol no' ring~!
Both rings cost $2.50 each~! So for them both it came to only $5!
First, I'll review the 'lol no' ring~
(Just had to go and take some new HD photos xD)
As you can see, it's a light lilac shade, just as it was advertised, and the writing is neat
It clearly says 'lol no', you can read it very clearly, and it isn't smudged at all!
I think the writing has been done with black paint, the same as the heart was painted lilac...
But, it's a very even coverage, you cannot see through the paint at all~
The back on the ring is extendable, it's not a fixed size,
which is good because I have small fingers xD (hardly any rings ever fit me haha)
And, unlike some extendable backs, this one doesn't pinch my skin at all~
I've had some rings where my skin gets caught in between the bits of metal, but not this one \(^o^)/
So, this ring gets top marks~! But, what about the macaron ring? o.O
Alisha's artistic photography... |
The painting has been done really carefully, the purple and white don't smudge each other~!
And, there's loads of detail, for example: on the cream inside the macaron, it's all swirly~~
Also, around the edges, it's wavy and has dents put into it like a real macaron!
I wear this ring a lot, it's been featured in a lot of my recent Sweet Lolita co-ords~
I have a lot of purple Lolita pieces, so this ring goes perfectly ^w^
Again, it has the same back as the last ring. The backs seem to be very strong
I don't think they'll snap unless you really open them out so that they're basically flat o.e
But, I don't see why you would want to do that xD
Of course, these are handmade pieces, so treat them with care and respect o-o
If you're too rough with them, they might break! D:
But, both rings seem very securely stuck onto the backs~
And also, despite being made of polymer clay, they're very sturdy and aren't at all bendy!
So, I think, as long as you're gentle with them, they'll last a long time! (I've had mine for a year~)
For quality, I'll give these cuties:
5/5~
C O N C L U S I O N
The total cost for my order was $9, which is really cheap in pounds!~
The communication was excellent with Anna of ZombieUnicornJewelry,
When I messaged her to make sure my order had gone through, she was very polite~
She even messaged me to apologize for the order taking so long to arrive
(although I didn't think it took very long at all!) so that was super duper nice!
Also, she wrote me a little note on the back of the business card, it was so cute~
AND she included a FREE pearly bracelet~! I was in shock at getting a freebie!
Because Anna is super nice, and all of her items are handmade and really detailed...
I'm giving ZombieUnicornJewelry a perfect:
5/5~
That's all for this review~ If you liked these items, be sure to check out Anna's store here:
And I'll be back again soon for my next post~ Although I currently have no idea what that'll be!
Bye cuties~
(I feel kinda rude when I just leave these posts like this, I want a cute little signature or something...)
