Today, I'm going to be talking about a custom-made iPhone 4s case that I ordered from 'http://lindaliciousjewelry.storenvy.com'~!
I was very excited for this phone case, since I've wanted an OTT 'Decoden' case for some time, but they're always been WAAAAY out of my price range. (£30 for a phone case tho rly). Also, this case is one of a kind, it's been made especially for me~! Ah~ I love things being made for me it's fab.
So, I stumbled across 'LindaLicious Jewelry' coincidentally one day, because I'm friends with Linda on Facebook, and saw that she was promoting her storenvy store! I went and checked it out, and it turns out that she hand-makes tonnes of super-duper-cute things, and everything is so cheap I was like "WAU~!" And then I saw that she does phone cases, but they were iPhone 5 cases, and I have a 4s. So, I was really happy to see that she does custom orders~!
I sent a message on Facebook asking if she'd be willing to do it, and how much it was going to cost, and I also gave a rough idea of the kind of style I was going for, and she said it was all fine~ The cost of it was $9.50, which in GBP is only slightly over £5. I was practically screaming with joy xD
I made the payment and Linda made the case, about a week later I got a picture just before she shipped it to me~ And it was exactly the thing I was hoping for~! *o*
Anyway, IT ARRIVED YESTERDAY! Huzzah!
So now, I'll post photos!
As you can see, this is the decorated part of the case, and it's super OTT and decorated! It has Hello Kitty, and also things like cakes and donuts~~ Even a cute pink bunny, who has 2 forms on the case, and one is really blinged out and glittery! XD I really love the pastel colours nothing clashes at all~
This is the view from 'inside' the case, i.e. the 'front' when it doesn't have a phone there~!
As you can see, it looks all swirly and funny-looking because of the fake whipped cream! xD
From this angle, you can also see that the phone case itself is see-through on the 'back' but it has baby-pink sides, and that is also suuuuuper cute~!
Now~ Let's review~!
Detail:
Because it contains loads of cabochons, as well as also having gem-stones that really catch the light and make it all shimmery~ The whipped cream looks so realistic, and I'm actually currently obsessed with touching it! It feels really cool!
I was actually a bit worried when I got the picture through before she shipped it, because it looked like a bit of whipped cream was going to be going across the camera, so it would block any photos whilst I had the case on, but that was just my imagination, because when the case arrived the camera still works fine~! Not a single problem!
Over-all, I think this case is exactly what I wanted, pale pastel colours and really cute shapes like sweets and teddy bears, without being so OTT that things are in the way when you go to use the phone~ It's absolutely PERFECT~ I couldn't be happier with the detail!
I also took pictures of each side of the case, to show what it looks like from the side!
Quality:
For quality, this case gets 5/5~!
I'm actually known for being pretty harsh when I rate the quality of objects, because I always feel that if you're paying for something, you should receive an item that isn't going to break immediately.
And I have to say, I've had absolutely NO PROBLEMS with the quality of this phone case. It's absolutely fab. I haven't experienced any of the cabochons falling off... I'm sure some will eventually, because things do break after hard use, but nothing appears to be loose at the moment.
The cabochons are stuck down reaaaaally well, and trust me, I checked. (not so I could complain if they weren't, but so I could re-glue asap.) and nothing came out of place. It looks like it should be fragile, but it's really not!
Customer Service:
I really do rate customer service 5/5~!
Even though me and Linda are friends on Facebook, we'd never spoken before, so it's not as though she was nice to me because we're friends or anything like that, she's just a really nice person!
Almost as soon as I messaged the Facebook page for her store, stating what I wanted, etc. I had a reply, and she was super polite, and together we worked out how much it would cost and roughly how long it would take to make, considering that she'd have to order the phone case online, etc.
Then, even after all of the order-related things were done, we started talking and she gave me some great encouragement and advice to start creating my own jewelry and Decoden stuff!
She was really friendly and really helpful~ If I had any questions, she answered them no problem!
Over-All Experience:
I'm rating 5/5~!
I'll definitely order from LindaLicious again~! Everything is so high quality, despite amazingly low prices. As for Linda herself, she's so lovely and friendly! Definitely very approachable, and it's so easy to get a custom order. I mean, really. Like, wau~!
I really want money so I can order again! haha~ I think next time, I'll order a bunch of necklaces to go with my Lolita outfits. (Loli post coming soon!) Over-all, it was a brilliant experience ordering from LindaLicious, and it saddens me that the store isn't more popular, because they have such a huge variety.
I hope that people start to notice the store, because Linda's really lovely and her products are amazing quality, plus, everything's really cute! C'mon guys! Cheap, super-cute stuff! *o* *o*
