Hello fellow Otaku of the World~~~
Today I will be giving you a list of things that are coming up for me...
Because I'm starting to expand on what I want to do, not only with this blog, but also with my YouTube, and also my future career ideas, too~! I only have 1 more year of normal school, so I have to make some decisions now~ uwu
Firstly, I want to make an announcement regarding 'Melody', stylized as メロディー...
Now, you probably haven't heard about this yet, unless you're a member of Light The Skies Ent.
Orrrr, you often like to snoop around their website without being a member xD
Basically, I'm starting an All-girl internet idol group... Firstly, we'll be covering songs, then hopefully move on to releasing some original songs... And maybe get on to dance collabs, but, we'll see how that one turns out~ ^w^
Right now, 'Melody' is still taking baby steps, and I'm currently in the process of running auditions for members... So, if you're interested... More information can be found on my audition thread at LTSEnt. Which can be found here: http://lighttheskies.cinebb.com/t9743-open-1251312525124871245112540-melody-japanese-permanent-group-auditions
There should also be a video going up on the LTSEnt official YouTube channel sometime soon that gives information about the types of songs we'll be covering, etc... However, if (and I'm not really expecting this) you happen to be interested in joining, you have to be a member of LTSEnt. We're a singing community dedicated to Asian song collaborations. Signing-up only takes a minute, everyone's really friendly and welcoming, so even if you're not doing it for 'Melody', do it for the feeling of being part of a community. ~~
Also~~~~ On top of me launching 'Melody', I intend to >attempt< to start a UK-based idol group, to cover Japanese pop songs by idol groups, and have the opportunity to work with people in the UK that I can actually meet up with and dance with and sing with in person and stuff, because I think that seems really cool, and it'd be nice to perform at conventions and such, soooo~~
I don't really know how this one'll turn out, because as far as I know, nobody in my local area has the same ambitions as me, so it could prove quite difficult to find members that I can meet in person. T-T
Moving on from that, I feel that now is as good a time as any to announce that I will be auditioning as part of Avex Japan's Star Search next year... Which, I'm not expecting much to come out of, however, the opportunity is there for me to at least audition, even if I don't get anywhere, it'll be a learning experience and it'll motivate me to improve. And if I do get somewhere in the competition (which I sincerely doubt will happen, ever) then that's great news and I'll be boosted closer to my idol dream.
But, I understand that a lot of hard work needs to go into making my audition as good as it can possibly be, and I'll also need to work on recording 2 demo tracks to send Avex in order to even secure an audition in person xD
So, nothing's definite yet, but I'll do my best~!
Moving on from that, as I said earlier, I'm getting closer to finishing school and being given the choice as to which path to take for my future. I more-or-less know what I want to do, and I've known for quite some time... Since I doubt the idol dream will ever become a reality, and this is something that has always interested me, I will be studying TEFL at college (Teaching English as Foreign Language), in hopes that I will be able to assist in Japan with the growing need of English teachers. And, I know that people will probably think "Oh, she just wants a ticket to Japan and this is the only option she has" but honestly, I've always wanted to teach, English is by far my strongest subject and I love it, and also my dream country just so happens to want English teachers. I'd be stupid not to take this opportunity!
So~ That is my plan for after school. I'll also be studying Japanese language, as I still have a LOT to learn and it's really about time I got some help with it. >.<
But, just in case I strike lucky, I plan on applying for the Brit School in London, which is a performing arts school funded by the government, meaning that I wouldn't need to pay fees that I can't afford to pay to go to a school like it, but it would boost my vocal and dancing abilities, which would increase my chances of ever really being able to work as a vocalist or performer in general...
I'm applying for Brit school and normal college, since I doubt I'll get into performing arts with the talent that I have, since it's government-funded, they want the best of the best so... *shrugs* it's worth a shot though, right?~~~
In other news... Anyone subbed to my YouTube channel will have maybe noticed that it was down for a few days... This was intentional, as I had some changes to make to everything, including my stage name~! Those who are subscribed will now notice that my stage name is 'Arisha☆ちゃ' which translates as 'Alisha☆Cha'~ I decided to make this change because I didn't like the styling of my old Japanese stage-name, and I wanted something that stood out a bit more, was more 'idol-like' and a lot more cute than just my name using Kanji xD
So, in a sense, when my channel was re-launched, I was re-born. However, videos using my old name I was too lazy to go and change completely, so I just covered the name with annotations! haha~
I plan on releasing more dance covers, since the only dance I've done is 'Danjo' which has been over-done to death over the years and is a pretty easy dance to learn and perform, soooo... I want to try harder dances, but in honesty, dance really isn't my strong point. I enjoy dancing, but that doesn't make me good at it, at all! xD xD
That's all for this post, as I've already made it waaaay longer than I was intending haha~~!
Coming soon: Unsponsored review of Candy Geisha items~!
I'm so excited, the package is coming tomorrow!! Ah~
