[ETUDE HOUSE] Makeup & Skincare Collective Haul! (& Review!)

W E L C O M E !

Hi guys~! It's been so long since I last posted anything here! (I'm so sorry!)
The reason I haven't been posting a lot is because I've been a lot more active on my Tumblr (thesquidprincess), Instagram (a_ninja_princess) and YouTube! Because of me posting on these sites more regularly, I didn't have time to come here and make any new posts... That and, I didn't really have anything interesting to write about... orz

But now I do~!

Today I'm here with a collective haul of all the things I've purchase from the South Korean beauty brand 'Etude House'!
I'm sure you've all heard of Etude House, they're a huge company (especially throughout Asia) and they're seen as being the founders of BB/CC Creams and all that good stuff. (Although I actually haven't purchased any BB/CC creams from them... Yet!)

Please Note: As I am in the UK, there are not any Etude House stores where I live, so I've had to find ulterior means of obtaining these products haha. I have had to purchase all of these items from eBay, which, can be quite risky because there are a lot of sellers with fake items, so you do have to be wary of that.

For this reason, I only used 4 sellers for everything that I got, and these sellers were also active outside of eBay with their own Korean beauty store websites, so they're legitimate. Also, it's important to make sure that you choose sellers that are based in Korea, because if they're based in China then it's more likely to be a fake...

So, without further ado~ Let's start!
L E T ' S  S T A R T !

Firstly, here is a photo of everything that I received:

As you can see, there are quite a few items here... And a lot of them are samples from other Korean brands!
(But I'm actually not going to be talking about the samples, hence why I've titled this an Etude House haul!)

So~ Let's start talking about individual products, where I got them from and how much they cost!

This is the Etude House 'Oh~ m' Eye Line' liquid eyeliner in the shade '#4 Oh My Purple'~!
It cost me around about £3.10 (currency conversions change daily) and I got it from the seller 'beautynetkorea (54120)'
Each of the things I purchased took around 2 weeks to arrive from South Korea, which isn't too bad! They all came in these little boxes, wrapped up tightly and securely in bubble wrap, so I didn't have anything break, etc.

I really wanted to start collecting different coloured eyeliners, because I feel like I wear black way too much and I want to get some more colour into my makeup. What I liked about this one was that it wasn't too bright of a purple, it's almost a navy colour when worn and I really like the colour. In the sunlight you can really tell it's a nice purple eyeliner.

I think these eyeliners are a cross between liquid and gel, if I remember rightly, so the application is a little strange if you're not used to it, and when you first use the product, the colour payoff may not be that great. (I had to go back over the line a second time the first time I used it) But after that first time using it, it should be ok~!

My camera really didn't like this one, haha~
This is the Etude House 'Bling Bling Eye Stick' in the shade '#1 Shooting Star'~!
It cost me £2.60 and I purchased it from the same seller as the last item!

I was inspired to get one of these after I saw someone use it in a makeup tutorial on the 'Kawaii Pateen!' YouTube channel, and it looked so nice to work with under your eyes to create a glittery open-eyed refreshing look, or to be used on top of eyeshadow. I was in love, so I looked it up right away and found out it was super cheap! Yay~!

They recently released some new colours for this so there are now 10, and I'm quite tempted to buy some more just because of how easy they are to use and how good the quality is! I have also used this as a highlighter when I went to see 'The Lumineers'! It worked really well because I was going for a dramatic makeup look! I have also used it to highlight my collar bones, etc. when wearing a dress or top where they're visible, and I think it looks really cute!
This was actually the first product I ever purchased from Etude House, and from then on I fell in love with the brand, because not only are their products super cheap, but the quality is great too! And the packaging is just too adorable to even put it into words~

This is the Etude House 'Honey Cera 4 Piece Sample Kit'~
It cost me £4.75 and I got it from the seller 'f2plus1 (113069)'

I'm so impressed with these, and I will be ordering the full size versions soon. In this set there are 4 different types of skin product, one for dark circles, one to moisturise, one is a whitening/brightening product and the last one is a toner.
You apply these in the order listed on the packaging and then put on your makeup as normal.
Honestly, my skin has been so much softer, smoother and bouncier since I started using these, and my dark circles have faded a lot too!

One of the things Etude House is famous for is their skincare products, and I also want to pick up a couple of other things when I get the chance~ I'll be sure to talk about them and review them when I do!
This is the Etude House 'Lovely Cookie Blusher' in shade '#7 Rose Sugar Macaron'
This was £4.40 and I got it from the seller 'beautyholic4u (5834)'
Again this took about two weeks to arrive~ (It actually arrived this morning!)

I realised that out of all the makeup I own, I don't really own any blusher, except one really cheap Maybelline one which looks awful on me, so I decided to try out one of the Etude House Lovely Cookie Blushers because they're cheap and they seem to be very popular...

I haven't tried this blush on my face yet, but I have done hand swatches and I can honestly say that this colour doesn't show up very much at all on the hand unless you go over it again and again in layers, which obviously you don't really want to be doing to your face incase it looks cakey...
I don't know if I'm going to like this blush yet, it might really surprise me and show up really nicely on the face, but I doubt that will happen haha.
If it does, I'll come back and add to this post so you know~!

But the packaging is really really cute, honestly it's so adorable I could curl up and die!
The next thing I'm going to be talking about is these two lipsticks, but I will be talking about them separately because they're from different series'~
This is the Etude House 'Dear My Blooming Lips Talk' lipstick in the shade '#PK015'~
It cost around about £5.15 and I got it from the seller 'rinishop (32633)'
Rinishop also has a website!
http://www.myrinishop.com/

I was worried that this would be too similar to the other lipstick that I got, but luckily they're different shades after all~
This lipstick is a matte finish lipstick, and it's a very deep, vibrant pink!

I have way too many lipsticks, but somehow I have barely any pinks! So I really wanted to take advantage of the cute packaging and get some of these lipsticks, and honestly I didn't think I was going to be that impressed, but they're so rich and such good quality!

The packaging is the main selling point of this lipstick but I love the colour and I really want to get more of them~
This is the Etude House 'Dear My Wish Lips Talk' lipstick in the shade '#PK003'~
It cost £5.60 and I got it from the seller mentioned earlier (beautyholic4u)

This one is not a matte lipstick, instead it's very glossy and hi-shine, but still very pigmented!
This colour is slightly darker than the other one as well, so they are slightly different shades~
I really love the design of this lipstick as well, even though it's more simplistic that the other one, I still think it's really cute!
What I really love about this one is that it's very moisturising, and it has a built-in lip tint, so even when the layer of lipstick comes off during the day, you still have the colour underneath like you've applied a lip tint! I thought this was really nice, because you don't really have to worry about touching up the colour.
S W A T C H E S !

(From top-bottom: 'Oh My Purple', '#PK003', '#PK015', '#7 Rose Sugar Macaron', '#1 Shooting Star')
